Lincoln Center 50th Anniversary Time Capsule

Welcome to Lincoln Center’s 50th Anniversary Digital Time Capsule

September 17th 2008, marked the launch of Lincoln Center's Digital Time Capsule.

We invite you to upload your written memories, images, videos and audio files evoking favorite moments, performances and events experienced at Lincoln Center over the past 50 years.

Unlike traditional time capsules that are physically buried at a moment in time and unearthed at a later date, this digital time capsule will be housed on the Lincoln Center website, accepting contributions throughout the year. In May 2010, at the close of the Anniversary celebration the digital time capsule will reside on our website for viewing at will.

Submitting Your Lincoln Center Memories

Submit your memory to our Digital Time Capsule curators and possibly become part of Lincoln Center history.

To add your memory, become a member of the Time Capsule community, and submit your thoughts as a blog post (below), or send us a video or photo for consideration.

You will be notified if your post becomes part of Lincoln Center's official archives.

Opening the Vivian Beaumont and Forum Theaters
